The Collinwood Painted Rain Barrel Project
Saturday, April 13th, 6-10pm
Auction of Ten Artists’ Hand Painted Rain Barrels at
Arts Collinwood, 15605 Waterloo Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44110
About the Project:
Northeast Shores Development Corporation participates in a free rain barrel installation for 25
Collinwood residents per year, carrying a waiting list, proving the popularity of the conservation program.
Lake sustainability, North Coast bodies of water and North Collinwood inspired art was the call from regional artists through Community Partnership for Arts and Culture Artists in Residence Grantee, Linda Zolten Wood, who was inspired by St. Clair’s ‘Year of the…” statue competition and auctions.
She hopes to create yearly cycles and workshops of this event, raising awareness for the need for rainwater collection, and lake conservation while supporting local artists.
